You rang?

I have two HUGE jars of AB to get through before hitting the SB (I broke down and bought the JUMBO Costco AB), and all because I accidentally bought PB. The weirdest thing is I'm making myself eat all the PB before I'll crack open the AB - what's wrong with me?

Don't forget we have a walk on Friday!

Love your giving sentiment! I was so happy to hear that Seattlites had rallied and the food bank ended up with much more food than it had before the break in. We should support the Greenwood FB more since it's not so far from us. I volunteered at one in high school and it was such an amazing experience! In spring we can volunteer at Marra Farm and you usually get to come home with seedlings. Sue, who works there, is one of the most amazing women I've ever met.

Night night scrumptiious!

Thank you for the reminding folks to donate to a local food bank. I put a similar post on Facebook last night, after we arrived home from helping put the Thanksgiving baskets together at our local soup kitchen. We ran out of some food items before we finished the baskets. Donations are down everywhere and the need is way up.

My Thanksgiving meal, alas, will not be any sort of healthy like yours - it will be the typical carb-loaded pigout fest it always is, and I will eat almost none of it. But it's still my favorite holiday!

Wishing you a beautiful Thanksgiving!!

Oh yum thanksgiving stuff! I normally just eat tons of veggies and no "meat" replacement since Field Roast is kind out of out of my price range, but last year I did make seitan medallions. This year I am thinking of making a veggie lentil mushroom loaf.

I'm also thinking I'll make that buckwheat bowl but with quinoa flakes! Yay I finally got some.

Thanks for bringing up the idea of giving. I donated a bunch of food to a food bank - money is tight but I would have spent that $20 somewhere else (kombucha, anyone?)

OMG great post Marissa!

so THAT'S the dessert we were chatting bout on email a few weekends back and the maple (raw vs not vs who cares!) conversation. It looks amazing.

Stevia, thanks for your link.

Sunbutter. I prefer the TJ's brand WITH the added sugar :) b/c I like it. I have seen that brand in WF but have never purchased it, why mess with a good thing but i understand some ppl dont like sugar like I do. I actually think I need it, I am highly physically active and burn off carbs fast.

Thank you for the prose on giving. And the food bank and your whole story. Touching. Great reminder about the season :)

Your plate from last year looks delicious, but I think your turkey day plans this year with your mom sound perfect. Nothing beats a cozy evening at home with a good movie in my opinion.

Love that Sunbutter, but DON'T love the price. Hoping to make my own version soon.

Thanks for the reminder that it is the season of giving. :)
