How exciting! I've always wanted to get more into yoga, as the extent of my practice includes 1 DVD so far, and I only do it every so often when I want a good stretch. Seems to me group classes are the way to go though!

Great blog! Excited to poke around here some more. I found you on Twitter because of your Maya Whole Health mention. It's an awesome place. Maybe I'll see you around there sometime. I go 2-3 times a week and do some communications work for them. Happy New Year!

Oh! And if you are injured or have old injuries, definitely tell your yoga instructor! They will let you know if there are postures you shouldn't attempt and may show you special moves to loosen up that knee.

I've taken yoga classes for two years now on and off, and I don't pretend to be any kind of expert. But as I understand it, yoga should help your joints in that it will teach you the proper way to move and carry yourself so that you don't over-stress them in every day life.

Have a great time tonight!!!

I did the free yoga class at my gym last night, and I'm so sore! Being the spaz I am, I couldn't stand on one foot afterwards to put my shoes and almost crashed headfirst into the mirrored wall. I was a sight - as usual!
