Hey Marisa! Just found your blog :)
I've been looking to make some sort of connections in Seattle since we'll be moving there in a couple months from Wisconsin. Well, hubby is there already, but our daughter and I will be moving soon. I've never been there and a the small town conservative girl in me is a bit nervous!
Anyway-I'm really enjoying your blog! Have a great day :)

Hey there!! I randomly came across your site and after reading your about me (and getting a chuckle) I wanted to say hi!!! Congrats on your transformation...the discipline it must of took those two years is very impressive.

I also wanted to say I'm passionate about acting and the arts as well. I sometimes do screenwriting or act in small projects for fun. In college I was a few credits away from a double major in theatre and eng lit but ended up with a minor in theatre.

Like you, I also feel better when I don't eat grains but for some reason that doesn't stop me. However I did kick the sugar habit.

Anyway I'll stop rambling on about myself on YOUR about page. Yeesh. I'm so rude. Nice to "meet" you. :-)

The first reason is that grain has less nutrient density per calorie than the vast majority of other foods I eat. Grains also effect hormones in your body in a negative way. They also can cause lethargy and many people have intolerance to different types of grains. ultimately I just know that when I cut out grains and sugar from my diet I lost fat. When I add those things back in they make me feel tired and sick.
